Intermittent Wi-Fi on Asus M50VM
This machine has a Qualcomm Atheros AR928X which is apparently long in the support tooth.
Open a terminal and simply run:
echo "options ath9k nohwcrypt=1" | sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/ath9kfix.conf > /dev/null
No idea what it does, but it works. From:
